Karim Asad Ahmad Khan KC, born on March 30, 1970, is a renowned British lawyer specializing in international criminal law and international human rights law. Fluent in English, French, Russian, and Pashto, Khan has established himself as a prominent figure in the field, representing prominent clients and influential organizations.

Landmark Cases and Accomplishments

Khan's legal acumen has been instrumental in several high-profile cases. He represented William Ruto, Kenya's Deputy President, in the International Criminal Court (ICC) trial. Khan's advocacy contributed to Ruto's acquittal and highlighted the complexities of pursuing justice in international tribunals. Additionally, Khan served as the defense counsel for Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, son of former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi. On February 12, 2021, Khan was unanimously elected as Prosecutor of the ICC for a nine-year term.
