Vice President Kamala Harris is already starting to break with the party's left flank. Harris has been able to keep a distance from the party's more progressive members, such as Senators Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren. She has also been critical of the Biden administration's handling of the economy.

Many have speculated that Biden's antitrust record under the Biden Administration would be torn between President Biden's inclination to take a more moderate approach to antitrust enforcement and the demands of the party's left flank, which has been pushing for a more aggressive approach. However, Harris's recent comments suggest that she may be more willing to take a tough stance on antitrust issues than Biden.
