Daniel Jones Injury Contract

Daniel Jones' Contract Details Revealed

$81 Million in Guarantees at Signing, Including $30 Million Base Salary in 2025

The New York Giants have agreed to a four-year contract extension with quarterback Daniel Jones, a deal that includes $81 million in guarantees at signing and a base salary of $30 million in 2025.

The contract, which runs through the 2026 season, is worth up to $160 million if Jones meets certain performance incentives. The $30 million base salary in 2025 is fully guaranteed for injury, while the remaining $23 million is guaranteed at signing for injury.

"We're excited to have Daniel as our quarterback for the next four years," Giants general manager Joe Schoen said in a statement. "He's a talented player who has shown a lot of growth and development in his first three seasons. We believe he has the potential to be one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL."

Jones, who was selected by the Giants with the sixth overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, has thrown for 8,129 yards, 45 touchdowns, and 29 interceptions in 37 career games. He has also rushed for 1,031 yards and nine touchdowns.

The Giants are hoping that Jones can continue to improve and lead them to the playoffs for the first time since 2016. The team has struggled in recent years, going 19-46 in Jones' three seasons as the starting quarterback.
