Details of Daniel Jones' Contract
The New York Giants and quarterback Daniel Jones have agreed to a four-year, $152.2 million contract extension. The contract includes $81 million in guaranteed money at signing, making it the largest contract in Giants history.
Signing Bonus and Base Salary
Jones will receive a $35 million signing bonus and a base salary of $12 million in 2023. His base salary will increase to $14 million in 2024, $16 million in 2025, and $18 million in 2026.
Roster Bonuses
Jones can earn additional roster bonuses of $1 million in each of the next four seasons if he is on the Giants' roster on the fifth day of the league year. This means that Jones can guarantee $12 million of his 2025 base salary if he is still with the team at that time.
